Who we are
Platform Bar Limited, Station Approach, Cleethorpes, DN35 8AX.
What we collect
Name, email, phone, booking/order details, and payment confirmation data. We do not store full card details — card payments are handled by our payment provider.
Why
To take and manage your booking or order, send you confirmations, updates and invoices, provide customer service, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with (processors)
Our payment provider (for processing payments), our email provider (to send confirmations, updates and invoices), and our hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under contract.
Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookiesto make the site work — for example, remembering your cookie choice and, if you sign in, keeping you logged in. These don’t require consent.
With your consent we also use analytics cookiesto understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can choose “Essential only” or “Accept all” in our cookie banner, and change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.
We also run our own first-party analytics, which is cookieless: activity is grouped under a random ID that lives only in the current browser tab and is discarded when you close it, so there is no tracking between visits or across other sites. We record page views and interactions — pages seen, how far you scroll, how long a page is visible, and which buttons and links are clicked — and, if you complete an enquiry form, the details you give us there (such as occasion, group size, preferred dates and your contact details). IP addresses are truncated before storage and never kept in full. No third-party analytics services are involved and the data stays on our own servers. We use it to understand how the site is used and to respond to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the booking and our legal/accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
