1. Who we are

These terms apply to bookings and purchases made through platformclee.com with Platform Bar Limited(“Platform”, “we”, “us”). By placing a booking or order you agree to these terms.

2. What we sell online

Through this website we take (a) party and venue bookings, secured by a deposit, and (b) pre-order drinks to be redeemed in person at the venue. We do not sell drinks online for delivery or for consumption off the premises. All sales are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

3. You must be 18 or over to purchase

Everything sold on this site relates to alcohol or to a licensed venue. By placing any order or booking you confirm you are at least 18 years old. See our Age & Alcohol Policy below — this is important and forms part of these terms.

4. Party & venue bookings

• We work to a minimum bar spend rather than a hire fee, agreed with you up front based on your date and group size (typically from £250 midweek and from £500 at weekends — confirmed at the time of booking).
• A £50 deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your date. The deposit is deducted from your final bill (it counts towards your minimum spend).
• Recommended party size is from 25 up to a maximum of 150 guests.
• Earliest start 12:00, latest finish 02:00, on the date booked.
• The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or fail to attend. It is fully refunded if we cancel or change your booked date.Full details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Exclusive use, where offered, applies to the private/VIP room; the rest of the venue may remain open to the public unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Pre-order drinks

Pre-ordered drinks are redeemed in person at the venueby the named customer on their visit, subject to our Age & Alcohol Policy and to you (and the person redeeming) being able to produce valid ID on request. Pre-orders are not for takeaway or delivery.

6. Add-ons (decorations, catering, entertainment and similar)

Some extras — for example decorations, catering and entertainment — are arranged through third-party supplierson your behalf. Prices are quoted and agreed at booking. Where a complaint relates to a third-party supplier’s goods or services, it is handled directly with that supplier; we will help facilitate this where we reasonably can.

7. Music

We can play music via streaming and will take song requests where possible, but specific requests cannot be guaranteed.

8. Your conduct at the venue

We expect guests to treat our team, our venue and other guests with respect. We operate a licensed premises and may refuse entry to, or remove, any person where reasonably necessary — including for unacceptable behaviour or where we cannot lawfully serve them (see Age & Alcohol Policy). No refund is due where service is refused or a guest is removed for these reasons.

9. Prices and changes

Prices shown at the time of your order/booking apply to that order/booking. We may update prices and these terms for future bookings.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for matters outside our reasonable control.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Age & Alcohol Policy

• Platform is a licensed premises. You must be 18 or over to buy anything on this website (pre-order drinks or party deposits). Browsing the site is open to all; purchasing is 18+.
• At checkout you must confirm you are 18 or over.Knowingly buying alcohol on behalf of an under-18 is an offence.
• We operate Challenge 25. Valid photo ID (passport, UK photocard driving licence, or PASS-marked card) may be required on entry and before being served. If you cannot provide acceptable ID, or are under 18, we will refuse to serve alcohol.
• Under-18 guests at parties: under-18s may attend a private party where arranged in advance, must be supervised, and must follow venue rules (including being in the private room from 21:00 and leaving the venue by 22:00). Under-18s will not be served alcohol under any circumstances.
• The person making a party booking and paying the deposit must be 18 or over.
• We will not complete, and take no payment for, any alcohol sale we cannot lawfully make; where such a payment has been taken, the alcohol element is refunded.

Delivery / Fulfilment

We do not post or deliver goods. What you buy is provided in person at the venue (Station Approach, Cleethorpes, DN35 8AX): pre-ordered drinks are redeemed by the customer on their booked visit, and party bookings are honoured on the booked date. The time between payment and fulfilment is the gap between your booking/order and your visit or event date.
